Dorothee Mainka

About Designer

Dorothee Mainka is a German designer based in Hamburg. She studied in the Netherlands, Germany and graduated in furniture and spatial design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts – School of Design in Copenhagen (DK) in 2014. Dorothee Mainka is working in the fields of product, interior and exhibition design. Her travels around the world, her life in the Netherlands & Denmark and the Dutch & Scandinavian design shaped her work, not only in designing with sensitive aesthetics but also with cultural and social significance in her projects.
